The patented Axis Balance Shoes is the result of the research and joint experience of Pascal Chenut, chiropodist and holder of chiropody patents (some of which have been awarded the Gold Medal and Silver Medal for innovation) and Eric Mouillon, posturologist.

This shoe is very dynamic and is ideal for diabetic feet, elderly people and anyone looking for improved balance.

01 START

At the very start of the step, the bevelled part at the rear of the shoe prevents the movement from being too sudden and this encourages a smooth rolling movement of the foot. The longitudinal groove prevents small pebbles from destabilizing the heel laterally.

02 PUSH

In the push position, a la age concave surface performs the same task as the groove.

Two eccentric lateral medial parts that are 2mm high are squashed by the weight and thus improve the general stability of the foot.

The raised semi-circular surface prevents slipping in any direction and therefore ensures better stability.

These two parts together limit the risk of internal and external torsion of the foot, especially for the elderly who tend to walk using small steps, sometimes "dragging" their feet.

03 PROPULSION

The foot being completely stabilized by the lateral medial elements, propulsion is optimal. The final curvature is studied to prevent the shoe from hitting the ground hard and any stumbling.

OTHER FEATURE :

A shank is incorporated from the start in the sole of the shoe in order to meet the specifications of some countries in terms of the stiffness of the sole.
